Chapter 3 — Part I — Article I (Of God the Father)

Section 98. Q. Are not these words taken from holy Scripture? A. They are. The book of Genesis begins thus: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The Apostle Paul, speaking of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, says: By him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.
