Section 1. Q. What is Baptism? A. Baptism is a Sacrament in which a man who believes, having his body thrice immersed in water in the name of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, dies to the life of sinful flesh, and is born again of the Holy Ghost to a life spiritual and holy.
Section 2. Q. Is Baptism necessary for salvation? A. Yes, absolutely; for Jesus Christ says expressly, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
