Section 514. Q. What consolation is there for him who, by denying himself, loses many natural gratifications? A. The consolation of grace: a divine consolation, which even sufferings themselves can not impair. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. 2 Cor. i. 5.
